“Doing Life in Family – Loving, Laughing and Learning to Parent” Glenn and Robin Garvin
Great things happen at camp and for Glenn and Robin it was at a youth winter camp where they took a first night-walk together - the beginning steps to a life’s journey. They married 6 years later and served on pastoral teams at three SoCal Network churches over 25 years. They are parents to David, Ally (daughter-in-law), Matt and Janae. In 1988 Glenn and Robin, established the second Royal Family Kids’ Camp, hosting abused and neglected children. Glenn serves as VP of Camps and champions the church’s call to the modern day orphan. His passion for children at risk comes from his own dysfunctional upbringing and his desire to see God break the cycle of abuse in today’s generation of children. Robin leads the church’s call to minister to children for our SoCal Network. Together, Glenn and Robin impact thousands of leaders and children with the hope and love that come from knowing and serving the Savior.

"Don't Push Me Cause I'm Close to the Edge- Navigating Transition and Change" Melody Hernandez
Melody Hernandez is a wife of 25 years, a mother of 3 children, the Pastor of Ministry Operations/Women's Ministry at New Beginnings Community Church, and a woman who is continually being shoved to the edge. It's a turbulent feeling when God is preparing our life for change. It's common to experience uneasiness, confusion, anxiety and, at times, depression when our future is unknown. Standing on the edge of a cliff, sweaty palms and all, is what I associate these seasons to with God asking one question, "Will you trust me?"
